Clean Agent Systems

Code and Maintenance Requirements

Clean Agent Fire Suppression systems and Halon Fire Suppression systems must always be maintained in operable condition. Additionally, they must be inspected semi-annually and annually, with a report produced per NFPA-2001 or NFPA-12A standards, and a record tag permanently attached to each cylinder. Don't hesitate to contact our office for more information on the maintenance requirements of your specific equipment.

Our Certification

As these systems are a combination of fire alarm system and fixed chemical fire suppression system, Pyrene Fire Security Manitoba employs only CFAA registered technicians and Journeymen Sprinkler & Fire Protection Installers and insists all personnel be a City of Winnipeg Fire Protection/Life Safety Licensed Service Person. Additionally, all technicians servicing halons hold their M.O.P.I.A. certification. Factory training and support round out our service personnel abilities. We have multiple clean agent/halon service personnel ready to respond to your service request 24 hours a day.

Installation

Even though we service all makes and models, Pyrene Fire Security Manitoba is proud to offer the Mircom and Janus product lines. We are pleased to work with building owners and general contractors on designing, supplying and installing new clean agent systems. The verification of new installations is a Pyrene Fire Security Manitoba specialty.
