Code and Maintenance Requirements

Cross Connection Controls (backflow prevention devices) must always be maintained in operable condition. Additionally, they must be inspected annually per the City of Winnipeg By-Law 504/73, a report recorded and submitted to the City of Winnipeg Cross Connection Division, and a record tag securely attached to the device. Our Certification

Our field technicians have received post-secondary training on these specialty systems and are licensed by the City of Winnipeg Water & Waste Department. Pyrene Fire Security Manitoba is also a Licensed Mechanical Contractor within the City of Winnipeg.
