Portable Fire Extinguishers

Code and Maintenance Requirements

Portable fire extinguishers must always be easily located, accessible, and maintained in operable condition. Additionally, they are required to be inspected monthly and annually per NFPA-10 standards and a record tag is permanently attached to each unit. Don't hesitate to contact our office for more information on the maintenance requirements of your specific equipment.

Our Certification

Pyrene Fire Security Manitoba proudly maintains a listing as a ULC Fire Extinguisher Service Agency, as well as certification by Transport Canada for high-pressure hydrostatic testing. Our shop personnel hold their M.O.P.I.A. certification, and both shop and field technicians are trained per the NPFA-10 requirements. We have multiple fire extinguisher service personnel ready to respond to your service request 24 hours a day.

Staff Training Available

Pyrene Fire Security Manitoba has Licensed Fire Extinguisher Trainers available to conduct training seminars and end-user demonstrations for your staff. Don't hesitate to contact our office for more information on your specific training needs.

Installation

Even though we service all makes and models, Pyrene Fire Security Manitoba is proud to be an authorized distributor for Badger, one of North America's premier fire extinguisher manufacturers. This provides us with factory training, support, and factory-direct access to parts. We are pleased to work with building owners and general contractors on the layout, supply and installation of new fire extinguishers for new or existing buildings.
